Sparkled Pink

A few months ago I was inspired to try out this color combo when browsing through Cupcakes and Cashmere, and never got around to it.  However, for Fashion Week I wanted to try something different with my nails, yet not too over the top and flashy.  Ask most people who know me, and I love glitter on my nails, which is why I was very intrigued with this combination.  Great for events where your hands won’t be the first thing people notice, yet still noticeable!

To get this look:

1. Paint a first coat using OPI’s Mod About You (you can use any color but I much prefer the lighter tones for this) and wait 45 seconds.
2. Paint a second coat of OPI’s Mod About You, and wait another 45 seconds
3. Apply Sephora for OPI Only Gold for Me Top Coat

Fall Nail Trends 2011

Out with Summer and in with Fall! Pretty soon we’ll be putting away our brights and heading for the darker shades. Here is a sneak peek at Fall 2011 nail polish colors!  As you can see jewel colors are back, burnt oranges, plum purples, peacock blues, emerald greens and gun metal greys! Also can’t forget the nudes are still around!   I am so excited to get some new polish for this upcoming season!
