Lakefront

There was nothing better than wearing neon and having the sun beaming down while I was up north for the weekend! The sun seemed to have disappeared for a few weeks and hopefully now it will stick around.  One thing I absolutely adore about this fabulous neon peplum, from Ann Taylor, is the fact that it can be dressed up & dressed down depending on what you pair it with. For casual nights up north, there was nothing better than a pair of boyfriend jeans and metallic heels for a relaxing evening out! ~Love CTina

Although I haven’t been a huge fan of the midi length look on myself, I caved when I turned my pleated maxi skirt {last seen here} into a midi dress! ~Love CTina XO

Hi Loves! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Although we had that horrid snow storm on Friday, I was happy to see that Saturday & Sunday were mild days and boots were something I didn’t have to wear! Casual attire is always something that is a must have in your wardrobe, and boyfriend jeans paired with a boyfriend blazer and flats is the ultimate way to be casual chic! ~Love CTina XO

Cropped

Hi Loves! Hope all of you had a fabulous weekend!! One thing I love the most about this frigid season are the fabulous sales, especially at Zara. I made sure that my recent purchases from Zara were all transitional pieces (seen here).  One of the most unique items I found was this sequin cropped vest.  The exquisite detailing and cropped look is a great piece to transition from winter to summer, by pairing it with either a long sleeve or tank. What have been your best sale finds? ~Love CTina XO

Hi Loves! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! The weather in Toronto made it feel like summer was just around the corner (wishful thinking I know), but the warm temperatures just had me feeling my tulle skirt for a day out! Hope all of you enjoyed the amazing weather outdoors and not in! ~Love CTina xo

New Years Outfit

Hi Loves! So since NYE is just around the corner, I’ve been seriously planning what to wear to ring in 2013! Last year I rung in 2012 in Portugal, where I always find my most favourite articles of clothing, like this sequin, deep V back shirt! The sequins do all the accessorizing I need to help me celebrate 2013 in style. Paired with leather leggings and super high wedges I can’t go wrong if I decide to stay in with friends or go out! What will you be wearing this NYE? ~Love CTina XO

Holiday Outfit: Day – Night

Hi Loves! From my recent post focusing on holiday outfit inspirations, sparkle and sequins was the only thing that has been on my mind! The holidays are upon us and all the next couple weeks call for are parties.  Most of these normally occur throughout the work week and there is nothing worse than lugging half of your wardrobe with you so that you are party ready!  There are numerous ways to transform your work attire into a stylish fabulous party outfit, with just a few simple changes.  I love sequins during the holiday season. There is something about it that no matter what you’re pairing with it, it will always look dressed up and sophisticated. Even though my sequin skirt screams party, I still managed to transform my work outfit into something more fun by switching my everyday bag big to a small clutch, adding a few chunky accessories, changing my lip colour to a bold one and throwing my hair into a messy bun.  These small changes only take a few minutes and after you’ll be party ready! Hope all of you have a Happy Holiday! ~Love CTina xo

Patterned tights have never been my thing, until recently when I took the plunge and purchased these black and white polka dot printed tights.  Since the print was bold enough, I paired them with a basic black outfit and minimal accessories.  What would be your choice of patterned tights? ~Love CTina Xo
