DIY: Bejeweled Handbag

Hey loves! Since Toronto Fashion Week starts today, I’ve been spending my weekend prepping outfits and figuring out accessories and final touches! One accessory that was a must have, is the bejeweled Birkin handbag! After seeing a bejeweled Birkin handbag, I almost died! I mean I am the queen of bejeweling & revamping anything, as you can see here and here! Now since I don’t have sufficient funds for my own Hermes Birkin bag, especially a bejeweled one, I decided to do it myself! Would you revamp an old handbag like this?  ~Love CTina XO

What you’ll need:
~ Old handbag, mine is from ASOS sent to me as a gift from Casino Ladbrokes!
~  Multi-colored Embellishments – any craft store will have these, mine are from Michael’s
~ Glue Gun

DIY: Embellished Sunglasses

The best way to take those old sunglasses and revamp them is by embellishing them! We’ve seen embellished sunglasses on the runways of Prada, Marc Jacobs, Pucci and many more, so why not just embellish yours! ~Love CTina XO

What you’ll need:
~ Sunglasses
~ Glue Gun
~ Crystals and/or flowers

DIY: ‘The Carrie Bag’

The minute I started watching The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City, I knew I would be in love with the show! When I saw Carrie go all DIY on a bag throwing nailpolish on it I knew that had to be my next project! This fun and easy project takes no time at all!

What you’ll need:
~ Various colors of nail polish
~ Old purse or clutch

How To:
~ Pour and splash nail polish all over the bag until you’re satisfied!

DIY Glitter Soles

What you’ll need:
- Glittering Glue (I’m using Martha Stewart’s)
- Glitter (colour I’m using is Smokey Quartz by Martha Stewart)
- Pair of pumps (Mine are from Aldo)

Hope to see all of your soles glitterized! ~Love CTina XO

DIY: Toe-Capped Pumps

As I’ve mentioned before, I am completely obsessed with the toe cap trend, that I decided to take an old pair of Nine West pumps and transform them into this seasons hottest shoe, by adding a gold toe cap! Takes only about 5 minutes and voila, you’re ready for a night out on the town!! ~Love CTina xo

What you’ll need:
- Pair of black pointy toe pumps (mine are from Nine West)
- Painters tape – that way it doesn’t ruin your shoe
- Gold spray paint – from Michael’s or any craft store (you can use any metallic color)

Directions:
- Place painter’s tape 2″ from the tip of the shoe
- Take the spray paint and spray just the tips
- Let it dry for 5 minutes, and then give one last spray
- Let it try for 30 minutes
- Remove tape carefully
- Voila – Your toe capped pumps are ready for a night out!
*Note: you can do this to plain flats as well!

DIY Style Creation: Studded Collar

This is my 2nd Vlog and I’m so excited to be doing something on one of the seasons HOTTEST trends and one of my biggest obsessions – STUDS! Using earrings, I studded the collar of my denim shirt. This quick and easy fix is not only interchangeable, but great at adding that extra detail and splash to an ordinary shirt!

What you’ll need:

- Few packs of studs (mine are from H&M)
- Denim Shirt (or any collared shirt)

Hope all of you will try out this amazing project and I want to see pictures of your designs!! ~Love CTina xo

DIY Creations: Glitter Mason Jar Vase

This is a fun an easy DIY creation that can be used for centerpieces, decorative pieces throughout the home as well as unique gifts!

What you’ll need:
- Mason Jar
- Glitter (I am using Martha Stewart Crafts Color: Smoky Quartz)
- Glittering Glue (You can use normal white glue, but I prefer the Glittering Glue by Martha Stewart Crafts)

How To: Key Caps

I always have tons of keys on one key ring, that there are days, especially nights, I can never distinguish which key is for what! I knew I could go to a key store and buy the key caps, but how boring is that! I wanted them to be stylish, bright and full of glitter, which is why when I saw that using nail polish would work I just had to do it! Happy crafting! ~Love Ctina xo

What you’ll need:
- Nail polish (I used a base color, Sephora & China Glaze, then glitter as a top coat, OPI & Sephora by OPI)
- 2 or more keys

DIY: Studded iPhone Cover

I have been wanting to do a DIY post for quiet some time now, but never have enough time to actually start and finish one! I recently came across a studded iPhone case and it triggered a sudden urge to do it myself! ~Love CTina xo

How to: YSL Feather Shoes

I fell in love with these YSL shoes – they’re funky yet a classy pump!  When I looked at the price I realized that they would have put a massive hole in my wallet! As a girl who lives on a budget – I figured I had to pull out the arts and crafts side of me and make these!

What you’ll need:
- Pair of black pumps (mine were from Payless)
- Feathers with a small trim
- Adhesive Velcro
- Clear fabric glue

*Before you purchase the feathers & Velcro you must measure the length of the heel

Step 1:
- Cut the Velcro so that you have a thin strip the width of the heel

Step 2:
- Place the female side (soft side) of the Velcro on the shoes

Step 3:
- Cut the trim of the feathers down, but not too close to the seam

Step 4:
- Glue the trim to the back of the male side of the Velcro and wait to dry

Step 5:
- Attach the Velcro together and VOILA! You have a YSL shoe!
